Praga Północ
Pre-war fabric on the right bank of the Vistula, renovated block by block.
Praga-Północ survived the war largely intact and so looks unlike the rest of the city: Ząbkowska, Stalowa, Brzeska, courtyards with shrines. The same block can hold a restored tenement and a building still waiting for work — the city regeneration programme, adopted in 2024 and running to 2030, covers several dozen addresses here, among them on Mała, Stalowa and Brzeska. The reference points are strong: Koneser with the Museum of Polish Vodka, the restored Park Praski, the zoo, and two metro stations, Dworzec Wileński and Szwedzka. Worth viewing not only the flat but the street, at different times of day.
- Uneven regeneration
- Pre-war tenements
- Metro M2
